We’ve been having a lot of fun this holiday season. As we are want to do, we had cameras with us for most of it. So here’s a quick overview in pictures of our holiday.
Watching the Christmas Ships come in at MOHAI with Logan and Bert:
Ellie and Logan look over the water at the ships.
The Dickens Carolers were performing on this ship, and they piped the music out so we could all hear it on shore.
Decorating the tree, Ellie helping:
Jeff looks to the right and takes this picture…
…then down to take this one. Ellie insisted she was helping.
Ellie finishes up the tree with a little help from Jeff.
Cookie decorating and craft party at Ainsley’s:
What party is complete without a light saber?
Agape Holiday party and performance:
The cutest little reindeer ever.
We wish YOU a Merry Christmas!
Friends in pretty dresses.
Jeff didn’t get the wacky face memo.
A visit to Swanson’s Nursery to see the reindeer and camel:
How did we not get a picture of the critters?
Singing with the Cherub Choir (Go Tell It on the Mountain):
This was the first time Ellie sang in Big Church!
After the service, they had a Narnia themed party in Larson hall. Here Ellie has just walked through the coats in the wardrobe into Narnia and nailed us with snow.
Going to the Nutcracker:
These ballerinas (Dew Drop and The Sugar Plumb Fairy) were in the lobby after the performance and Ellie wanted her picture with them.
Clara let Ellie wear her tierara for the picture. Ellie was reluctant to give it back.
Christmas Light walks:
This picture was taken at our neighbor Carla’s house. We did lots of drives and walks to see lights throughout the month.
The Night Before the Night Before Christmas Pajama Party:
An all girl’s party with school friends meant there was some serious goofiness.
Again, Ellie was singing with the Cherub Choir in the Family Service. This time Larry and Janet were able to come to the service to see her perform.
During Silent Night.
Ellie not wanting her picture taken next to the pretty tree and window. I still like this picture even with her looking away.
Afterward we went to U Village for dinner and some playtime.
Then home for some more playtime before bedtime.
After Santa’s visit. Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!
