Every year around this time, I go to San Francisco to attend Macworld Expo, where I give presentations and mingle with like-minded Mac folks. For the last two years, Kim has had to watch Ellie while I was gone, so this year I proposed something different: take Ellie with me.
I didn’t take her to the conference, of course. When Macworld occurs, I also visit my mom and step-father in Dixon for a few days. To give Kim a break and have an adventure with Ellie, the girl and I flew down a few days before the event, and then she stayed with her grandma while I was in San Francisco.
Ellie and Susan and Ron had a great time (and let me catch up on my sleep!). Excitement included visits with Ellie’s cousins Zachary and Logan, lots of shopping—now she has light-up shoes!—and barnstormin’ around the farm. Check out Susan’s photostream for more photos (they’re mostly visible only to friends and family), and here are a few I shot when I was at the farm.
(Apologies for the short post about a big week; it’s late and I’m pretty fried today.)
